This week it’s all about sock yarn.
Dyed on a British Whitefaced Woodland yarn this 100% is tough enough for socks while being comfortable next to your skin. There’s no nylon and the wool hasn’t been superwash treated, so the suitability for socks comes from the hard wearing characteristics of the fleece and the tightness of the spin.
It would also make a great yarn for hats – and I’m eyeing up several colour combinations in anticipation of the new Woolly Wormhead collection.
We’re also clearing a little space to make way for new colours so there’s 10% all of the semi solid Britsock colours until 1800 UK time on Sunday 1st September. You’ll need to use code 10BRITSOCK to get the disocunt and it only applies to the semi solid colourways.
