When the idea of having a Yorkshire yarn turned into a reality one of the first people I wanted to tell about it was Louise of KnitBritish.
We chatted some more.
An idea was born.
Louise has been hard at work finding images which will become colourways for this very special yarn.
I’ve had a lovely time looking at the Pinterest board we share and enjoying her sense of colour.
It’s been a delight.
We have a very limited amount of this yarn, and once it’s gone it will be very late late summer at the earliest before the 2017 clip is turned into yarn..
So it needed to be something special.
We’re launching two KnitBritish inspired colours on the 12th of January.
This is Sea Urchin – Louise gave me pictures of tiny bits of shell in gorgeous soft colours.
This is Rusty Door 1 (which may give you a hint about some of Louise’s other ideas)
We’ll only have 5 skeins of each colourway for sale – and the colours won’t be repeated on this yarn base.
