A little while ago I had the chance to talk to Louise Scollay, the talented podcaster behind Knit British.
It’s no secret that I love this podcast. It’s a wonderful mix of yarn, stories, interviews and more. Louise is wonderful to listen to, and she’s kept me company in the workshop or on trips back and forwards to college so often that I feel I’ve known her forever.
When we launched our new Wensleydale and Shetland 4ply I knew Louise would be interested. It’s a 100% British wool. The fleece comes from UK flocks, and is processed spun and dyed without ever leaving the UK.
So I sent off a skein for review and – well you have to go and listen. I can’t make written words convey the description that Louise gives of this yarn.
Listening to anyone enthuse about something they love is always a treat. Hearing a bit of expert analysis is always a treat. The two in combination are unmissable.
To accompany all of this yarn love there’s a chance to win a custom dyed skein of Wensleydale and Shetland.
