We spent last weekend at Fibre East.
For once I remembered to take a couple of photos of the stand. Well, I remembered once Bobbie told me to……..
Yarns all neat and tidy and ready to be fondled.
The new screen printed box bags, zipped pouches and tote bags. We sold out of several things very quickly, so printing more fabric is the first thing on my to do list tomorrow.
We also found out that crocheters have a violent streak – there were many, many requests for as bag which said “I crochet so I don’t kill people” Someone assured us that crocheters are homicidal maniacs too. So we’re working on a tote bag for you.
Hat samples and signed copies of Painted Woolly Toppers. Woolly herself popped by for a visit and charmed several people who found out that they could wear hats after all. Watching people try hats on and realise how fantastic they look is a real treat. We’ll be bringing all of the hats plus a mirror to Yarndale, so please come and play.
We’ll be adding signed copies of the book to the shop as part of the Friday update.
Finally a look at Rachel Coopknits stall – now I want to knit all of the socks. We also found time to hatch a plan involving mini skeins – so watch this space.
Huge thanks to everyone who came to see us on the stall. It’s lovely to catch up with people, to see what last year’s purchases have turned into and what’s being planned next. There was even a shawl in Tunisian crochet which has made me think I might need to learn how to do that.
