This week we’re introducing the sixth of our 2015 charity yarns. Bobbie and I wanted a theme for these which would run throughout 2015, and it’s fair to say that Bobbie has found an amazing source of inspiration for this.
The theme for the 2015 charity yarns will be Tribes.
The images which inspire this yarn come from a blog which details the travel adventures of Jimmy Nelson.
This is Bobbie’s watercolour to tell me what colours I needed to get from the dye pots.
The June yarn is called Ladakhi and is available as both a self striping and variegated sock yarn.

We’ll be donating 100% of the proceeds from the sale of these yarns to the three charities chosen by the Knitting Goddesses (and Gods). These are the Alzheimer’s Society, the Stoke Association and Mind.
Each of these colourways is limited, and once they’ve sold there won’t be any more of these colours.
That’s the only new yarn which will be added to the shop – but we do have another treat for you. Use code HAPPYBIRTHDAY from 1900 on Friday 26th of June to 1900 on Sunday 28th of June and you’ll receive a discount of 21% on your order. No other discount can be used with this offer.
July is right round the corner so it’s club posting time. Clubs with furthest to go went out earlier today. European clubs will be posted on Saturday and UK clubs will go on Tuesday. Rachel will be emailing patterns on Wednesday 1st July. On Wednesday 1st we’ll also open up places for the September clubs.
