In Which Life Fails To Go To Plan

Before we went on holiday I had lots of plans.

We were going to come back full of energy and enthusiasm and get lots done.

Turns out that hasn’t quite happened.

We had an amazing holiday, but came home to various problems with an elderly friend that we help look after. So instead of getting to go to work I got to spend 3 days on the phone and then have a few days in the Isle of Man. That ate up last week.

This week has been a week of things going wrong – I’ve managed to blow up 2 spin dryers and a microwave! Replacements have just arrived, so at present I have lots of wet yarn. Not at all where I hoped to be at this point in the week.

On the plus side the June clubs are sorted out and ready to post. The ones with furthest to travel will be posted on Tuesday, so I’m relieved that no club things will be delayed.

The plan is that yarn will dry overnight so there will be a small update tomorrow and then things should be back to normal next week. That’s the plan – cross your fingers for me!!
