I have no idea how it came to be Thursday quite so fast.
Before I launch into the photos for tomorrow’s update, I have to confess that something else has sneaked up on me.
Strictly Come Dancing.
Each year there’s a Strictly Sweep in the Knitting Goddesses (and Gods) group on Ravelry – so it’s time to start guessing again.
So after that minor confusion about why there are autumn programs on tv while it’s still summer, on with the update.
And more confusion.
When I did my last yarn order I ordered 4ply merino and bamboo. When it arrived it didn’t look very bamboo like. Too much sheen on it. Too much drape. When I had a look at the order I’d sent I’d asked for 4ply merino and tencel instead. I used to dye lots of this yarn and I loved it, especially for shawls and baby clothes. I discontinued it because it felt like we had too many yarn bases. And now I’ve fallen in love with it all over again.
Each 100 gram skein is 50% superwash merino and 50% tencel and is 333 meters long. For this week we’ll have this yarn at an introductory price of £11.50, then from next Friday it will be prices at £13.50.
Then there are sock yarns

Finally a restock of the semi solid sock yarns
Finally a huge thank you to everyone who shopped and helped raise an amazing total of £243 for the Save Mutonia Fund.
