Shiny Stuff

Quite a while ago we switched from a 4ply wool and silk blend to a 100% silk. Much as I liked the silk, I always loved the wool and silk blend.

So it’s back.

50% silk, 50% superwash British Falkland merino. 400 meters to each 100 gram skein.

Some of it came to Andyfest where it was much petted and admired.

Even better, we have a very special pattern to accompany it.

French 54 by Patricia Martin

The pattern is exclusive to us until the end of September – and it’s a gorgeous way to use a single skein of this yarn.

I may already have cast on……………

As well as the 4ply, we also have a laceweight wool and silk – this is 55% superwash Blue Faced Leicester wool and 45% silk and has 800 meters to 100 grams.

There are new sock yarn colours too

4ply sock sundown

4ply sock golden sands

4ply sock luscious

As it’s almost September (who knows how that happened?) the final instalment for this years yarn clubs will also be available.

There are also glass beads, buttons and poppers to be added to the site, so I’ll blog again when I get these listed.

The update will take place at 1900 on Friday.
