I have a terrible tendency to hang onto things in case I want them again at some point in the future.
I’ve moved house three times in the last 6 years, and each time it feels as if I get rid of so much stuff – and yet there’s still far to much of it.
So by way of decluttering I’m clearing out the spinning equipment, books and magazines that take up space and don’t get used. Much better that they should find a new home where they’ll be loved and put to work.
Also looking for new homes will be several drop spindles, 2 wheels and – well, let’s just say rather a lot – fibre.
It feels like making space for new things to come into.
And that feels like a good thing.
