A Grand Day Out

There are few things I enjoy more than getting together with a group of like minded fibre addicts.

When we moved to the Isle of Wight I joined the local spinning guild – and pretty quickly decided that I’d have better fun if I stayed at home and did housework. There are some lovely people in the group – but when I went it was run by a group of ‘ladies’ who didn’t want to know you if you weren’t one of their gang. Such a shame.

So it made me even happier when I found the Kennet Valley Guild – a really lovely friendly group who do all manner of interesting things, and where having an opinion is welcomed.

That’s where I’m headed today.
