The Best Start

I’m very lucky in that I don’t have to do much commuting to get to work.

Downstairs, through the kitchen and I’m into the workshop.

But even with a really short commute, there are some things that make getting up and going to work so much easier.

Toast made from proper bread.

We got rid of our bread make a few months ago, and I started making our bread by hand. Despite my initial doubts that a sticky mess would ever become a loaf, I’m now hooked. There’s something wonderfully therapeutic about slinging dough about, then watching it rose and smelling it bake.
