The end in sight

As most of you know (because lets face it I blog about it a lot) we’ve been doing up a house for the last 18 months. Today we said goodbye to the plasterers for the last time.

So we’re almost at the stage where it’s just down to us to decorate.

Having the kitchen finished is wonderful and it’s given me the chance to do something I adore – baking. Today has seen chocolate brownies from the hummingbird bakery book and banana loaf from Nigella’s domestic goddess. So the house smells wonderful – much more like a well loved home than a building site.

There’s also a bit more updating in the shop – I unearthed some more blue faced leicester so it’s in the sale section.

I’ve been busy dyeing too and there will be three new yarns available tomorrow evening – Vampire, Vampire hunter and Werewolf. Pictures tomorrow as everything is still drying.
