Snow – and Clubs

As we live in the very south of the Isle of Wight, and the Isle of Wight is in the very south of England, lots of snow is unusual for us.

On Tuesday morning our view looked like this

And an hour or so later we had this

All very, very beautiful.

This morning Bobbie and I walked up to the post office and local store for a few bits and pieces. No post was picked up yesterday, and it’s unlikely that any will go today or tomorrow.

But it’s so beautiful that it seems like a fair trade off for a day or two. It’s also when I’m incredibly grateful to work from home – and now that our building work is done I can be between the kitchen and workshop.

Also as promised, some photos of the January clubs

Here’s hoping that the weather improves soonish – although another snow day would be fine by me.
